Hi, I've been totally and absolutely flat-out with rehearsals these past few days, but just had to share with everyone the latest news that has hit the town here.  It's all about ME !!  

Oh, and, Antony gets a mention too ;-) 

The film is going well. The bears in charge treat me quite well - the honey's not up to scratch.  I knew I should have brought supplies from home... in fact, I think I'll email my humans tonight and get them to organise a delivery for me.  Other than that it's all good.  

Oh, yes, one other thing.  I've been told I might be able to do an early release of the film's promo piece on this very blog -  how good is that.  So, I'll keep my paws crossed for that. In the meantime, have a read:

HOT NEW STARLET HITS THE SCREEN: (Rebel shown here in full costume as Bellavista in her new film Dawn) A Rarely serious Film Company production  (International Sales) Youthful, unrequited love is portrayed in a gothic setting. This tender understated romancer touches the heart with a disarming, almost stealthy,   sweetness.  Almost certainly based on the popular Twilight series of films this film debut for Rebel Bear is a perfect venue for her incredible capacity to overact and portray a multitude of emotions with just one interminable glance.	Rebel plays the angst ridden Bellavista to the utmost. Rebel’s moodily handsome, lovelorn, vampire love interest in the film (Tedward) is portrayed  by none other than Crazy Antony.  Antony shot to fame during the recent Shoebunkum Saga which held the headlines for some time. Crazy Antony, shown here in his vampire make-up, simply oozes the timeless, dark, brooding persona of his film character, Tedward. “To be acting with Rebel will be a dream fulfilled”  said Antony.  Rebel was quoted as saying  that she’d be happy for Antony to share a small part of the screen with her.

If you've kept up with the latest "Bearly  Entertainment News", you'll see I mentioned about the possibility of me starring in a  gothicbear movie.  When I wrote that, I was in a hoping-like-mad-it-would-come-true kind of mood, but, YAY it will come true. 


I can tell you a lot more about it very, very soon. Promise.  In the meantime, I'm off to get some beauty sleep now, and tomorrow I'll be getting my fur brushed and my claws clipped and shaped in readiness. Oh, and probably my beautiful eyelashes will need a little bit of extra curling.

Rebel Cooks Bearylicious Caramel Dumplings

Serve with cream or ice cream

Caramel Dumplings (especially for the Bears bear - you know who I mean ;-) )

1 1/4 cups self raising flour

Pinch salt

1/4 cup caster sugar

1 Tablespoon butter (or margarine)

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Sauce:

1 tablespoon butter

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

1 1/2 to 2 cups water

Dumplings:  sift flour, rub in butter, add sugar.  To milk add vanilla. Gradually mix together to form a soft dough. Don't over mix. Then roll dough into the size of walnuts.

Sauce: Place all ingredients into a large saucepan, stir until boiling. Drop dough balls into simmering sauce. Cover with tightly fitting lid and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with cream or ice cream.

A handy hint: make an equal number of dumplings for everyone, otherwise fights may break out - these are totally yummy !

A sneak peek at my beauty routine

In anticipation of my new modelling career, I've had my beary beautiful eyelashes tinted, curled and lengthened. Oh, I know, one can't really improve on nature .... but, hey, the competition is fierce out there!!


Here I am, applying a secret blend of eucalyptus oil to my lashes.  


Next, I'm thinking of treating myself to a special nose waxing.  

Another Job for Bears - a case of extreme cruelty

Well, they say seeing is believing..... see this --->
I snapped this photo outside our supermarket last night and then immediately reported this terrible case of abuse of bears and other stuffed toys to the police.

Fortunately, the owners of the vehicle returned shortly after the police arrived. The toys were released and all seemed to be cheerful enough considering their harrowing ordeal.  The owners have been charged with various offences.

I will not let it rest, however, and have supplied all relevant details to the wonderful staff of the Bears (Be Enraged and Retaliate Silly), for action.

A Bear's Work is Never Done - boo hoo

Booey Hooey .....  Just felt like being a bit dramatic today!!
Well, seeing that I'm a Fashionista I'm sorta expected to act up a bit ... aren't I?  ;-)

Ok, back to the reason for today's post - I done did gardening and it was the coolest fun, getting down and mucking around in all that dirt! The poor bedroom bears could hear me outside, singing and flinging dirt around the place, they couldn't work out what was going on!  Anyway, here's a piccie recording the event.

Nearly time to curl up

I've left it a bit late for blogging, am tired all the way down to my poor little claws!  We all went to our fave spot for a bit of a ramble (well, one of our fave spots - there are many).  
I had fun though. Rambled along with the olds for a while but then I was so over it - boring... having to stop and go while they took pics.

Saw a jetty up ahead and kinda found myself on it and playing around until some old bloke shouted out to me that it was his "Private Jetty" - duh .... tell a bear who cares I thought to myself ha ha ;-)


Gotta go, I'm pooped.

caliope here and my pernament bear little frances we are bed bears we live on a bed or on a syde table or somtimes on the floor wen the bed is beeing used we must always stay inthe bedroom but thatss ok cos we like our job the drama queen still hasnot recovered from yesterday ween she said a swan attaked her and ate her chips so little frances and i quickly slipped out of the bedroom and tried to work the laptop and write a message like rebel does she is so bossy and says we cant so i think we can. goodbye from megoodbye from little frances too xx

Hi Bearkind.

Incredible day today - had myself a little fish n chips picnic down by the River.

Along came ferocious... huge... and nasty black swans. Stole my picnic rug and then ate ALL my food! I'm devastated! Still shaking. Yours in terror, Rebel.

My Trip to the Eye Doc

Hi again,
Wasn't too impressed with my visit to the Optometrist yesterday. No way. He looked at me like I was from outer space.... My human had a few words to him such as "discrimination to bears" and after a while he showed me into his office. I mean, where did he think I could go to get my eyes fixed? Anyway, got it all done but wasn't impressed with his bad breath - whoah!!!! Glad to get out of there, could bearly contain myself if you know what I mean. Till next time, cheerio, Rebel. First Post on First Blog ... Ever!

Welcome to my blog. I never know what will appear on these pages because my life can go in many directions. One day I'm off travelling with my owner and her hubby, next it's scrabbling around in the garden. Perhaps cleaning off excess honey from my paws which accidentally get caught in the jar..... or, I could be magically swept up into the world of glitz, glamour and adventure.  Who knows.
